2006 marked the 20th anniversary of ABTEK. Incorporated as American Bankcard Processing, the ABTEK name was trademarked in 1998 to reflect the company's commitment to and expertise in changing technology. Our founder's goal was to set ABTEK apart from it's competitors by offering a unique service: 100% local support after the sale.

Our staff provides friendly and knowledgeable support to our credit card processing customers. We work hard to stay on the forefront of changing technology and trends in our business. We provide hands-on assistance and solutions to retailers and wholesale companies of all sizes, school systems, universities and more. ABTEK has partnerships with several local independent banks that refer their commercial customers.

Also offered are internet shopping cart and gateway products, and an internet-based virtual terminal for card not present merchants. Gift card programs are an effective complement, with high-quality, four-color custom cards produced in-house to adapt to any volume merchant.
